Pictured Rocks
Cliffs of multi-hued sandstone, dunes and beaches, waterfalls, inland lakes, and streams await you along 47 miles Lake Superior shoreline. The cliffs are naturally sculptured into shallow caves, arches, and formations that resemble castle turrets and human profiles, among others. You can access the park from either Munising (west) or Grand Marais (east). Camping, hiking, cruises, boat & kayak rentals available at either end. Distance: 114 miles (Grand Marais)
